food in season

seasonal food for october sea food and shell food . hill lamb and wild game.
they are great for winter warmer meals such as soups and cassaroles .

dinner party

 starter
stornaway black pudding with fresh Scottish scallop
with walnut and pesto dressing  with micro salad

main
fillet Aberdeen Angus on a bed of patato and safron puree.
with glazed champane carrots. with aredused red wine sauce

desert
white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake with dinos ice cream.


my dinner guest would be. 
alex salmond.    you cant beat a wee dabate during dinner
elvis.                 he will give us a song after dinner
my mum.           miss her so much and want to see her again plus she loved elvis
kenny dalgleish.   my hero can listen to him all day long
frankie boyle.    very funny and stop the others from being to big headed
bob denero.      he can give us stories about all the stars hes worked with

I would ask elvis if we can have the dinner party at graceland
preperation of food

pan fry scallops 1 min each side until golden
same as black pudding 1 min each side garnish with side salad

the beef seal each side for 2 mins put in oven 5-8 min  take out and rest.
mash maris piper patatoes  and sive  then add saffron .
brring to the boil with salt sugar and butter simmer for five mins .
finish off in frying pan with butter

bash 100gr digestive-100gm ginger nuts
200ml double cream beat until soft
200gr cream cheese beat until soft
250gr fresh raspberries.
fold in cream into cheese then add raspberries .
pour onto base  set aside in fridge 2-3 hours  done
